Ecola State Park

Distance: 3+ miles out and back
Ecola State Park provides remarkable ocean views, picturesque beaches, and plenty of colorful sea creatures. Driving along Highway 101, Ecola State Park is located just north of Cannon Beach.  Before you begin, check out the immediate park area before jumping on the trail. A short paved path leads to several viewpoints of Cannon Beach, Haystack Rock, and the Ocean Arch.
The Ocean Arch

When you’re ready, follow the Oregon Coast Trail for 1.5 miles, in route to Indian Beach.
Terrible Tilly
Along the way, you'll encounter several vantages of the Ocean Arch and Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, aka “Terrible Tilly.”
Indian Beach
Indian Beach is your turnaround point. However, If you feel up to it, you can reach the city of Seaside if you remain on the Oregon Coast Trail for 6 more miles
Star Fish
I suggest choosing a time when the tide is low. Very low. With a low tide, you can travel further south on India Beach. You'll also have the opportunity to see colorful star fish.
