Triple Falls

Distance: 6.4 miles out and back
My go-to trip for any novice hiker - smooth, easy hike, with tons of water falls. A perfect sample of The Gorge forest. Very easy to find. Just head East on I-84 (for 33 miles), then take exit 35 off the highway. Follow signs from here.
Horsetail Falls

Beginning the hike from Horsetail falls at the parking lot,  the trail winds up, down and around, until reaching the climax of Triple Falls (approx 2 miles out - 4 mile RT). Along the way you'll pass Ponytail Falls and Oneonta.

Ponytail Falls is a fun stop because the path travels directly underneath the falls, providing a rare perspective. If you like chilling under waterfalls, check out Silver falls State Park
Oneonta
The next water fall break is Upper Oneonta Falls. Upper Oneonta feeds directly into Lower Oneonta, which is a popular hike and swimming destination in the summer.
Triple Falls
After another mile you'll reach Triple Falls. You may enjoy the view from an open area across from the falls or you can get a closer look from the edge.
